You may have seen me tweeting about the launch of a new website called Behind the Looking Glass. It’s a style and beauty site that helps you live happier, lovelier and healthier.
I’m Style Editor at Behind the Looking Glass and will be writing articles on all things sartorial. But rather than the catty, judgemental line lots of journalism takes, the other writers and I will be focusing on how fashion makes us feel. We won’t be pontificating over jeans that claim to make us thinner or why apple shapes should avoid stripes. Glossy mags – those topics are all yours.
Behind the Looking Glass is about looking good and feeling good, through fashion, beauty and lifestyle. My latest article is about the pull of nostalgia in fashion – you can see it here. Let me know what you think!

Bow Dream Nation xx
Wow, sounds like a good read, and a refreshing look at fashion and beauty. A personal look at style is what I love blogs for, so I’m excited to see a website catering for that too!
Really interesting article Jen.
It’s pretty obvious I’m caught up in a world of nostalgia, I love re-visiting the past and the treasures that belong in each era.
I think we can all relate to that blue floral stretch lycra dress in some way and that school disco! I remember Clockhouse very fondly so and my Mum was a huge fan of C&A, I can actually picture the store layout right now- as it was xx
Such a brilliant idea for a site Jen, your latest article is really so close to home it’s bizarre! x
Wow, haven’t been to your blog in a while, love your new do (I realise it may not be new to you!), but that site sounds fabulous, definitely going to check it out now!
I’m definitely going to check out the site!
I just read your article – I absolutely loved it! Clothes hold such sentimental value. It’s quite extraordinary when you think about it.
What a great idea, Jen. I will jump over to read your article… xo
Your article was brilliant Jen and I love the idea behind your new site. I can’t wait to see what comes next x
