Office sparkle

Posted in Daily Outfits.

Thrifted sequin waistcoat, H&M tee, Primark long sleeved tee, Gap jeans, Primark pumps, thrifted ring

I’m sure there’s a rule that states you should never wear sequins in the office. They’re so inappropriate for the corporate greyness you find in offices. But, what the hell. It’s nearly Christmas and after digging it out to photograph it last night, I wondered why on Earth I hadn’t been wearing this flashy throw-over for the everyday!

I think it just works so perfectly with this casual vintage print tee and the skinny jeans. What do you think – will you be slipping on the sparkle come Monday morning?

I’d like to thank…

Over the past few weeks I’ve gathered a little collection of fab awards, and I’d just like to thank all the lovely ladies who deemed my blog deserving. So here we go…

Big thanks to Laura at A Daisy Chain Dream for this one.

Merci to Pip at Pip a la Chic for this

And muchos gracias to Aubrey at High Heeled Love for the last one

You’re all such lovely girls and I really appreciate them all. As a thank you to everyone who has become a follower of my blog in its infancy, I’ll be doing a little giveaway when I hit 100 followers. So tell your friends! 🙂

I’d totally wear sequins to an office, haa, in fact when I did my work experience, I believe I did (and then got sent out on a beach assignment in the wind and rain, they soon lost the sparkle!)
I think in December it’s a given that you *have* to be glittery, I tend to go OTT with the sparkly eye makeup during the run up, which is a bit of a Tesco no-no, but ssh 😉

Ohmigosh Jen! Your legs look like they go on for miles in this picture – loving the all black with the pop of white up on top; so fabulous!

I have a tendency to wear a few sequins year-round – anytime, anyplace! I simply can’t resist sparkle!

By the way, congratulations on the awards! 🙂
