Wardrobe Wonderings – the results

Posted in Fashion.

Last week’s Wardrobe Wonderings was all about festival dressing and how to keep your fashion cool while contending with mud, excessive cider consumption and all manner of unpleasant situations. A tall order, I know. But I was confident my fabulously fashionable followers could pull it off, and I was right! Just look at these gorgeous gals…

Sarah from We Shop Therefore We Are
Sarah’s amazing Topshop cape adds a touch of bling to her festival outfit. The leather boots are a classic twist too!

Photobucket
Hannah from Bow Dream Nation
This is Hannah at Glasto last year – I just adore the sunflower pinned to her hat and that fab pink hair!

Photobucket
Emma from The Stones Inside My Shoes
Emma wore this gorgeous get-up to the Isle of Wight Festival last weekend. She has legwarmers on to stop her wellies rubbing – top tip!

Photobucket
Lou from Crafty and Quirky
Lou’s pretty sequin waistcoat was just £1 from a car boot – now that’s my kinda bargain! Love the knee high socks too.

Photobucket
Clare from Rainbows and Fairy Dust
A super-girly look from Clare. Loving the pretty florals, tough boots and her adorable dog!

Photobucket
Alex from Odd Socks and Pretty Frocks
The wonderful Alex gets extra points for use of props – can you spot her oh-so authentic bottle of cider? That cute straw hat is perfect for keeping the sun at bay.

Another successful Wardrobe Wonderings – high fives all round, I think! Don’t the girls look great? They’re all ready for festival season. What about you? Will I bump into you at Leeds Festival or are you heading elsewhere?

There’s still plenty of time to submit your questions for next week’s Wardrobe Wonderings, and the results post will follow the week after. I hope you’re enjoying this regular feature, because I love it!

these people are soooooo good at styling. my favorite is emma and lou. it’s a tie. and special appreciation to clare because her whole look particularly her gorgeous floral print dress, pose and background are so photo shoot like. and like you said alex gets extra points for her effective use of props and her totally cool attitude.

this is really fun. best i have seen today. i think the wellies are my favorite. probably because there is no need to wear them in that hot sizzling desert of arizona that i call home.

Wow. Emma looks so great in that white dress! I think I have one similar and I’ve been wondering how to wear it. I’m definitely going to go for that sort of a look.

I just adore her cape! But I would be to scared of wearing anything white to a music festival. Than again I’m to scared to wear white in general. =X

What cuties! I’ll definately be inviting them over to join us in Gilbert’s awning for a glass of vino and nibbles if I spot any of them at Glasto, IndieTracks, CamperJam, The Big Chill or Green Man (festivals I’ll be rocking this summer).

Eek, how exciting! I can’t believe someone’s called me cool – hahaha, I’m such a nerd really. Everyone looks great, some really different looks but they’re all festival perfect. Roll on the next one, I love this feature!

These outfits are fab! I know nothing about festival going what so ever (I’m not good with mud) but these stylish ladies could definitely convince me otherwise!
