I love these high waisted vintage trousers as an alternative to my often-worn skinny jeans. I have a bit of a denim habit (let’s not call it an obsession, please), so it’s nice to rehabilitate with something a little different.

What do you wear when you want a break from the norm?

PS – Yes, I got stupid fucking hipster glasses. More on them tomorrow. In my defence, they have real prescription lenses and I need them to actually see, which I think redeems me just a little bit. Right?!

I think the glasses look very stylish! It’s only hipster if you don’t have a brain to match, which, clearly, you do.

A break from the norm for me is wearing wide legged trousers. I have a grey pair from Banana Republic which I bought in the sale for £5.99 (!) and I used to wear them a lot when I worked, but not so much nowadays. Maybe I ought to get them out!

The glasses definitely don’t look like that idiot’s, they suit you as do the wide legged pants.
I don’t think I ever wear anything “normal” so I never need a break from what I have.

You do smart casual so well. I love the polka dot shirt. I like your new specs, by the way.

When I read the title of this post I thought it wouldn’t work but the different shades of Blue actually work really well together and I love the inclusion of the pink flats as well. I think your glasses really suit you actually!

Those wide leg trousers look so amazing on you! You should definitely wear them more often. Blue on blue is a good look.

Love that cardi and blouse combo, so cute!
Those trousers really suit you. I usually live in skirts and dresses, but there’s been loads of lovely trousers around on the high street lately, I definitely need to buy myself a pair and update my wardrobe a bit!

Out of the norm? I go for a dress the flouncier (is that an actual word? I’m not sure…) the better!
I love this outfit, your nails and shoes add tiny pops of colour x

Blue really suits you!
I also have hipster glasses but they are for seeing with! I love the shape of yours, they’re a little bit “softer” than some. They look great!

Love the outfit reminds me of a 1940’s film star.
And the glasses kinda work really well with the outfit.
