Dress c/o Republic, Topshop cardigan via eBay, boots c/o Sarenza, Topshop necklace and tights, Primark belt, Cambridge Satchel. Please excuse the hair – it was so windy!

A few days ago I popped into the new Republic store in Westfield Stratford City to pick out my key pieces for the new season. The colourful print on this cute tea dress immediately caught my eye – I think autumn is the perfect time to wear bright colours and bold prints. A drab November sky provides a great backdrop for something eye-catching!

On a cold, blustery morning, I threw on a chunky knit cardigan and my faithful ankle boots and I was good to go. Dress + cardigan + boots = easy autumnal style in three simple steps.

What are you wearing today?

Dresses with tights and big chunky cardigans are definitely my winter staples. Love the blue and yellow together, perfect for cheering up a winters day! x

I love that cardigan, it looks so cosy! Envious of your satchel too, I really need to get myself a bright bag for winter instead of using a boring black one!

yup, I too prefer a dress/tights/cardi combo of a winter, although I’ll confess that I’m terrible and often its ‘jeans/trainers/comfy shapeless sweater’ look. Oh dear.

I adore navy and yellow together….well actually I adore navy with anything, its one of my favourite colours.

I notice another outing for the satchel….keep this up and its cost per use will be mere pennies! Bravo!!
