I’m back in Leeds, wearing boyfriend jeans and slippers, after a hectic few days at London Fashion Week. I still have lots of photos and gossip to share, but for now you can take a look at my photo diary of the week on TescoMagazine.com. Enjoy!
Ok, really dumb question coming up – what is there to DO at fashion week? Just look at shows or is there any other exciting ‘action’?
There’s quite a lot going on but you do have to be organised as it’s a bit spread out! As well as the shows which are held in various venues (Somerset House, Vauxhall Fashion Scout in Freemasons Hall and other places across London), there’s the exhibition which showcases designer collections in close quarters so you can look at them properly, there’s Topshop’s NewGen space which is dedicated to up-and-coming designers, a press lounge where you can get drinks, Mac makeovers and Toni & Guy hairstyling, quite a few restaurants/cafés, even a book shop!
Outside Somerset House there are loads of events – in-store promotions and presentations, parties, screenings, dinners, press events, window dressings, meet and greets with the designers… London is always buzzing! 🙂
I didn’t even know tesco had a magazine! Great article though.. I’m not sure I’ll be sticking too closely to many of this years trends.. beehives and sports wear just don’t look good on me!
