Although I do still love a vintage dress and a cute cardigan, the grey marl tee has become my new style staple.
I have at least 50 billion (slight exaggeration, possibly) of them and seem to wear them with everything from printed trousers to puffy skirts. My favourites are super-soft and loose-fitting with a deep scoop neck and a light grey finish.

This perfect specimen is from Cos. I wore it with Topshop’s skinny Leigh jeans, my new Kurt Geiger heels, a simple Whistles necklace and my Mulberry. All absolute wardrobe favourites, old and new, that I wear time and time again. An effortless look that does the business for a busy day of, erm, business.
As well as Cos, I also recommend American Apparel and J Crew for grey marl (or any colour, actually) tees. Let me know if you share my love!

Honestly I don’t have a grey t-shirt. I never find one that fits perfectly, they are either too baggy or too see-through.

this outfit is so classic. I love grey marl tees! i only have one from topshop but i wear it all the time. it’s always in and out of the wash from just lounging around in it as well as wearing it out. i have those kurt geiger shoes and i have to say they are the best thing i’ve bought all year! quite pricey for a sandal but worth every penny… i want them in the other colours!

I have what feels like a bagillion grey t shirts, I love wearing mine with a big flash statement necklace. I’ve always found H&M ones work for me, but I also have a couple from New Look that have lasted me forever!
I struggle with t-shirts. I always end up feeling too casual in them, even if I pair them with a nice skirt and some heels. I think it’s all to do with the cut of them.
I love plain grey tshirts- I need a good roll sleeve on mine. Those shoes are cracking x

My fuh-haaaai-vourit t-shirt is grey, marl, v-neck and classically American Apparel. It’s never bobbled. I wear it approximately once a week at LEAST & it’s so comfortable, well fitting & versatile. It wrestles for number one spot for best versatile items in my wardrobe along with the much-loved black tank top. Whoa.

Not necessarily a grey marl fan, but I love super soft, draping tees. I have some linen ones from European Zara and they are my fave EVER. So comfy, but look great on.

Totally agree, grey marl t-shirts are an absolute wardrobe staple. I’m even wearing mine today, with a chunky necklace and black blazer and jeans. It just works. And those shoes are awesome.
Great fit, soft, washes well, priced right and tons of colors to choose from. This is a great summer shirt, shorts, and flops and you’re all set.
