A Bit about Jen

I’ve been writing things online since the late 90s, when my mum finally gave in to my pleas and installed dial-up on my PC. I signed up for MSN Messenger, opened a Live Journal account, set my desktop background as a funny picture of a cat and never looked back.

  • I’m fully embracing the pregnant person look in these Zara dungas... waistbands, be gone! They’re in the maternity section of the site but are actually from the main range (sneaky) so I went for an XL and the bump is just about contained - hopefully they’ll fit after pregnancy, too. After Marie Kondo’ing the shit out of my house (see Stories for the 🤯😱 evidence) I’m really trying to be more mindful with my purchases. And these definitely spark aaaall the joy! 🌟 #jenspregnancyoutfits #28weekspregnant

  • Happy Monday! I’m feeling much more positive at the start of this fresh new week. Nesting mode has properly kicked in and I’m choosing paint colours for a house that’s not quite ours yet (check my House Buying Highlight for the latest - hopefully we’re not far off!). I’ve Marie Kondo’d my wardrobe and today I’m tackling Hazel’s, then it’ll soon be time to pull all the teeny baby stuff out and start setting up for the little lad. How did that happen?! 👶🏼 #27weekspregnant #jenspregnancyoutfits
  • I’m vaguely obsessed with this cardigan I bought for Hazel (from Sainsbury’s) - kids’ clothing is just TOO CUTE and in my advanced stage of pregnancy I actually welled up at the sight of it 🐈
  • Only one week of the second trimester left and I am FEELING IT. I didn’t really get too fed up with pregnancy first time round until I was about 34 weeks, but this time... let’s just say parenting a toddler while lugging around an unborn child is not particularly fun. Only 91 days to go... 😩 #jenspregnancyoutfits #27weekspregnant
