Wearing: Topshop boyfriend jeans, Next stripe sweater, Primark trench and pumps, Matalan bag, H&M scarf, Mango ring, vintage belt
On: Sunday 16th January
For: Sunday shopping with a pitstop at Nando’s
It’s not often I take pictures of my weekend outfits – denim features regularly, usually paired with a chunky knit and boots. Hardly the most inspiring of combinations! But after purchasing this striped sweater from Next on Saturday, I felt its first outing deserved a little more care and attention.
These boyfriend jeans are usually relegated to my not-leaving-the-house days, but as skinny jeans and Sundays just don’t mix, I pulled them out, belted them up and added a printed scarf and plaited belt. An outfit that’s roomy enough to accommodate a chicken pitta with chips, AND looks kinda cute to boot? Done!
PS – Just before Christmas the lovely girls at Cellardoor Magazine featured me in their Meet The Blogger post. You can read my interview here, and make sure you check out the magazine too – so cute.
I love your scarf!

xoxo
you look lovely! boyfriend jeans suit you so well, jen. love the different background, too! it was so great to meet you at the next event, sorry for being kinda awkward and antisocial, i never really know how to interact with people, especially bloggers. plus i’m ever so clumsy, hence why i kept on tripping about the place in my heels, hehe. your coverage of the event was great, so looking foreward to seeing how you style the sheer shirt! 🙂 xx
Cute outfit, I love how the scarf adds a pop of colour! You look great in jeans too, I don’t think I’ve worn jeans for about a year now or something. Going to check out the interview now too
=)

Love the rockabilly-esque jeans and that pretty scarf, a lovely casual outfit. You really are the queen of jeans wearers. Off to check out the interview. xxx
Love this. I have a pair of boyf jeans which I love to wear on lazy sundays. I usually pair them with a striped tee like you did. I think you look super chic!

That’s a great top – very Breton and chic. xx
I love this outfit, especially the scarf – can’t believe it’s H&M, it looks much more expensive than that! Love the top too, my drawers are full of stripey tops just like it, I am a bit addicted!xxx
This is why I like it when people blog their casual wear – I like seeing boyfriend jeans and lots of cosy layers! That scarf is everso pretty too.
You look gorgeous! The scarf is lovely & it’s great seeing a blogger in boyfriend jeans – all I ever see are skinny jeans! x
I agree with Alex, I like to see what people wear casually. This is lovely and light for gloomy days, I am so sick of seeing grey and black so a white jacket and pretty scarf is gorgeous.
Love the scarf and shoes – they definitely add an individual touch to your weekend denim. x
Bf jeans really suit you! You should definitely wear them out and about more often. And the stripey sweater looks really cool as well.
Perfect for a weekend of shopping and nandos! You need room for the chicken!! 🙂
Love the stripes with the floral of the scarf.
Off to read the interview. Congrats on it!
xx
I love the scarf very much so xx
I love this look. Stripe T’s and jeans with any kind of floral element added feels like home to me… simply gorgeous x
