Inspiring London

Posted in Writing.

As stylish people from across the world congregate in London for Fashion Week, I thought I’d share a few photos of the city taken during my recent visits. If you’re looking for inspiration, London has it in bounds.

The London Eye

It’s an expensive tourist trap, granted. But I unashamedly love the London Eye… especially at night.

Buildings are my favourite things to photograph – they don’t move, so capturing them is easy.

County Hall

I recently stayed at County Hall and was taken with the grandeur of the building.

The V&A gardens

The V&A museum is one of my favourite places in London. It’s packed with a fascinating array of cultural objects, serves delicious food and has free WiFi. What’s not to love?

The theatre exhibition is my absolute favourite – so many costumes, posters and props.

My top tip for an interesting photograph – look up. Skylines are beautiful.

What’s inspiring you today?

I went to the V&A for the first time a couple of months ago and couldn’t work out why I hadn’t been sooner! I really enjoyed looking round the theatre exhibit too. Hope to go back soon and see some more of the galleries I didn’t get chance to x

My favourite building to photograph in London is the Natural History Museum – the details in the stonework are so beautiful. I agree with you about how inspiring London can be. It’s wonderful to find a little corner of the city that can feel like your own.

Incidentally, I have loved seeing your yellow satchel in the last few posts – it’s completely gorgeous! I love Cambridge Satchel Companies bags, my red one comes with me everywhere. x

I felt I was walking around the V&A on Saturday for ages and didn’t come across the Moschino bag!

Was a little upset the fashion exhibition has gone for refurbishment, it was the only reason I went back lol

I could walk around London all day long, such an amazing city. I think it’s the history behind some buildings that gets me, just beautiful.
Off to the V&A soon I hope as I get jealous looking at yours and Jazz’s piccies! 🙂

I go to NYU and I’ve been living in New York City for 17 year, and I think it’s the best thing ever. I love cities. Probably next year in the Spring Semester, I will be studying abroad in London!!! I can’t wait maybe I’ll tour the same places that you took pictures of I can’t wait!

Lovely photos!
I love London so much – in fact it was when I was down there last year that I got the inspiration to start crafting.

I love London too! It is my very favourite. Off all your photo’s, the one of the pigeon, right infront of the London Eye is my favourite.

Your skirt is V cute, and I LOVE the yellow satchel (I have a red one, it is my current most prized possession.

Oh how I miss London! I can never get enough, it’s such a perfect city to live in. I’m hoping that one day I’ll have more money that I can spend so I’ll be able to enjoy London’s each and every corner whenever I wish to. Thanks for the lovely photos, they did bring me joy this morning! x
