Sunday Smile #17

Posted in Daily Outfits, Home.

Evening friends! I’m a little late with this week’s Sunday Smile – apologies. I’ve been running riot in a corn ma(i)ze today! Tomorrow is my lovely mum’s birthday, and we always do something fun and summery to celebrate it. We headed to York Maze in Elvington (just outside York) to get lost in the corn, soak up the sun and pet the pigs. Here are a few pictures…

I wore new trousers from Zara, an H&M top, thrifted bag, Zara Taylor necklace (I wear this all the time – think I’m obsessed!) and New Look sandals.

It was such a lovely day – if you’re in the Yorkshire area and want something to do on a sunny afternoon, it’s definitely worth the visit. And if you time it right, you’ll catch the pig race (which was quite odd, but fun nonetheless)!

I start my new job tomorrow and I’m feeling excited and nervous. I’ve got my outfit all sorted, but that post will have to wait ’til Tuesday, because the first Project Take 10 challenge kicks off tomorrow! Make sure you’re here at 5.30pm to see how the girls and I got on. I must admit – it was a tricky one!

Anything making your smile this Sunday? Or have the Sunday Night Blues hit already? Do tell.

Looks like a lovely day out 🙂

Best wishes for your new job tomorrow – you’ll be great! I was going to wish you good luck, but I’m sure you don’t need luck!

Something making me smile is the fact the sun is shining, after yesterday’s horrendous monsoon-type weather. Just hope it keeps it up for a while..

Something else making me smile is the thought of my plans for tomorrow – we’re going on a family day trip to the Zoo, which is always a good day out & I can’t wait to see how much my 19month old nephew absolutely LOVES it!

Gorgeous pictures!
I’m smiling today because I had a wonderful few days with my boyfriend – he finally came home from 2 weeks holiday. I’m also smiling because I finally had a Sunday at work that wasn’t hectic! 🙂

Loving the stripes too 🙂

Corn maze sounds cool and its great you got it on such a lovely day! Good luck at your new job tomorrow!! You really love stripy tops don’t you, you seem to have loads (top and jackets) I love them too, can’t beat a good stripe!!! Not much of a Sunday smile here I’m afraid because I’m workworkwork at the minute but I am looking forward to having a yummy chilli for tea, home made and completely delicious xx

Thanks so much for this – as a relative newbie to the Yorkshire area (and despite my OH being from Skipton) we’re constantly trying to find nice days out. Luckily there is so much to do round here and this looks ace!

Lovely photos (especially the bug).

I actually went to a maize maze in county durham today with my mum and little bro! Spooky… we also had surprisingly gorgeous weather, and I have a few artistic shots of the maize against blue sky and ladybirds sunbathing on the leaves. I’m sure you’ll knock em dead tomorrow, don’t worry and enjoy it! Holly xxx

I adore the photograph with all the gifts and shabby stuff on, such beautiful trinkets xx

I go to a Maize maze just outside of Barnsley (Cawthorne) which might be a bit out of the way for most, but the maize has been over 7ft for the past two years, makes it a real challenge!

I saw Adele’s version of the Take 10 piece ( I won’t say hehe ) and her’s was great, looking forward to seeing your interpretation!

Looks like a lovely day too, I’m heading up to York this weekend to visit a friend too, so if we are stuck for what to do I’ll deffo suggest this 🙂

I used to go past this place on my way to York when I was little (I used to live in Wheldrake which is like the next village along) so I think I should really get round to giving it a visit.
