You all know I love a good thrift. My Saturdays are spent in charity shops and Sundays (when I’m not being lazy/hungover) at car boots. I tend to pick things up quite regularly and love to share them with you – and that’s where Thrift Find of the Month comes in! I’ll be saving my favourite finds for these special posts and I hope you’ll allow me to have a little gloat each month. Starting with…
… these utterly amazing trousers! I’m in love with these beauties. They’re from Next originally but I picked them up for just £3 at my local St Gemma’s. I wouldn’t usually go for anything high waisted but the wide leg and dark fabric make them so flattering. They’re a teeny bit too short for me, so will probably take down the hems and wear them with chunky heels. I love the nautical styling too – the perfect backdrop for my cute Primark brooch!

I love those. The high-waist is perfect. What have you got against high-waist? You wore a skirt with a high-waist that looked fab.
The trousers are too short? Not with flats though. A lot of my stuff is 99p from ebay. Shorts mostly. I do love my shorts. Winter and summer.

Your new trousers are VERY similar to my new favourite work trousers – but mine were from Primark (costing £5, in the sale from £13..)
Now I look more closely, mine aren’t linen, but I honestly thought they were the same trousers when I first saw the pic!

Yep, I’m with Jaljen. That high waisted skirt looks fabulous on you as do these trousers. You have the perfect hourglass figure for fitted clothes!

Snap on the primarni badge! Those trousers do really flatter your figure! The colour is perfect too, I can only imagine how hideous something like that would look on my tiny legs!
I wish I was more thrifty, I can never find anything I like when looking through vintage stuff/charity shops/car boots! Maybe its because im impatient when it comes to clothes!

I love a good bargain, recently I’ve bought too many! My favourites have to be the £1 sequin waistcoat I picked up from a carboot, and my ball dress which was a tenner.

Great find! You’re so lucky you can wear wide leg, I’m too short to wear to wide leg.
I love linen trousers – especially for summer over here- cool for hot-ish days but still keeping you warm if its a little nippy.:)
