What to Pack for a Festival – Clothing and Accessories

Posted in Fashion, Travel.

If you read my post on Sunday you’ll know I was a finalist in Oxfam’s competition to win two tickets to the Isle of Wight Festival, and thanks to you lovely people, I won! So I decided to give vlogging a go and created a little (okay, ridiculously LONG and waffly) video about my festival packing. It’s basically me, sitting in my bedroom, boring on about a bag full of clothes. So if you’re into that kinda thing, watch away…

Be kind, it’s my first one! Oh, and if you’re wondering, I’m wearing a vintage dress, ASOS necklace and Topshop’s Ooh La La lipstick.

What’s in your festival backpack?

PS – Second video on festival beauty essentials coming soon!

Love the video Jen and it’s so nice to hear a Yorkshire accent whilst I’m dahn sarf! I promise I was listening to the festival packing chat, but I was somewhat distracted by the beauty of your bed linen! So pretty! Where is it from?

Thanks Maddie! I always think my accent sounds ridiculous so glad you like it. The main duvet (red and white) is from Ikea and the throw (pink floral) is from Primark, surprisingly! Although many years ago, so not sure they’ll still have it. They do have similar stuff though – their homeware section is well worth a look 🙂

Congrats on winning the tickets! Really enjoyed your first “vlog” – looking forward to watching the beauty vid next. I’ve been to quite a few festivals now but you’ve given me loads of new tips that I’m going to take on board 🙂 Especially the legging/pyjama one!

Hope you have a lovely weekend and that it stays dry for you!

Loved this! I always take denim shorts because you can wear them twice and playsuits are silly, how are you supposed to use a portaloo wearing one?!
I take those kids L’Oreal shampoo that smell of fruit anf use them as shampoo and shower gel, less to pack!
I’m off to Reading this year 🙂 xx

Ahh, Jen! As a reader of your blog for some time now I have to say it’s so nice to see you do a vlog! Not only great info in it but (and this may sound silly so forgive me) it feels like I know you a bit better!
PLUS, gorgeous vintage dress.
