At this time of year, I’m drawn to luxe fabrics, rich colours and plenty of sparkle – black is banned ’til January (when I’m in mourning). As Christmas draws closer, I like to look as festive as the tree.

Primark sequin cape, cable knit jumper c/o Clothing at Tesco, Uniqlo jeans, Bertie boots, ring c/o Butler and Wilson at QVC
What started out as a simple jeans-and-jumper combination was soon made festively appropriate with the addition of the ubiquitous Primark sequin cape. Okay, so I did get a few odd looks in M&S while picking up the Stilton, but still. I can deal with that!
What do you wear to make you feel festive?
That cape is fantastic! Never would have guessed it came from Primark x
I need to male a trip to primark for that cape! X
love this quote: “As Christmas draws closer, I like to look as festive as the tree.” …it made me giggle x
I love this sequin cape 🙂 It looks perfect over the jumper! x
Love the cape, nice to see it on as it was quite difficult to appreciate the beauty of it below (no offence intended!). Also love the jumper, it’s a very ‘you’ colour!

Wow where do you live that you would get looks for just wearing a sequin cape? I think I would have to wear a pair of knickers on my head to get any strange looks haha. I just can’t believe it is from Primark and I keep saying that, so not sure why I keep saying it. They must be doing something right, will have to go and pick one up xx
You always manage to push the boundaries of everyday fashion and for me that’s what makes someone stand out from the crowd for the right reasons. Love the sequin cape, and your hairs look lovelier by the day xxx
I LOVE that cape so much, I think I saw it in Primark ages ago and wondered how anyone could ever make it look good, and now you’ve shown it can look amazing! I think I’ll have to go hunt one down for myself!
i love that outfit! it looks great on you! <3
Aaw I love your outfit Jen! It’s something I’d definitely wear (and be defiant when stared at haha). And your hair is looking so luscious at the moment! Have a lovely Christmas and hopefully see you in the New Year 🙂 ♥ Claire @ Jazzpad
