I think I’m misleading you all with that title – so far, my ‘challenge’ has been pretty easy! Maybe I actually don’t need to buy anything new, ever again! *gazes wistfully at ASOS website* Okay, scratch that. Let’s get on with passing judgement on my second outfit of the challenge, shall we?
Next blazer via charity shop, Zara blouse, Topshop jeans, Zara boots, Primark socks, Topshop and Primark rings, Zara bag
I clearly have a bit of a Zara problem. Ahem.
Anyway – am I cheating with the blazer? There’s no way I could get away without it, as it’s so bitterly cold in my office. So I think it’s allowed. I’m pretty sure this challenge was designed to test my fashion prowess, not give me hypothermia.
I find these Zara boots quite hard to style – I initially finished this look with my leather jacket but it all felt a little too ‘YEHAAAWWW!!!’ for me. I switched the jacket for the blazer and think the whole thing looks much more streamlined. The chunky black rings and slouchy chain bag are my go-to accessories to give an outfit that ‘rock chick edge’ all the magazines talk about. Taylor Momsen’s got it too, you know.
What do you think of my second Six Piece Wardrobe Style Challenge outfit? I’ve got a feeling it’s gonna get much harder tomorrow…
Great look! I’m a big fan of the high waisted jeans/blouse/blazer combination. As I do it myself 😛
I love the Zara blouse and boots. The jeans really suit you and the black accessories really toughen the outfit up xx
Perfect! Pussybows and high waisted pants have been two of my fave combos siince the dawn of time. I didn’t include coats in the challenge as it goes without saying that you’d need one. As a non-beige lover I think that blouse is gorgeous and I love those rings. xxx
Like the way the top and boots echo one another colour-wise. And the rings are fab.
Lovely outfit! I adore the bow and the colours, so perfect. Well done, keep going! x
you pulled it off! great look, love the rings 🙂
definitely, maybe
This looks great, pussybow blouses look so smart with a good blazer.
Looking good, so curious to see how this week goes for you x
beautiful 🙂 rings are fab!
I’m loving this style challenge and I’m tempted to give it a go myself…. I think it would take me week to decide on the pieces though 🙂
I’m so with you on the Zara addiction (see my post ‘My name is Milly and I’m a Zara-holic…’)
Looking forward to seeing your next look, keep up the good work!xx
I love this whole outfit, I can imagine halfway through the week this is going to get pretty tricky though!
Haha love all the Zara you addict!
Also: another great outfit from the challenge. You have inspired me to keep it simple this week and look out for some neutrals on my weekly shop! x
I’m not even sure I have the sort of capsule items to even start a challenge like this :/ This has made me realise I need to go out and buy essentials! I like how you’ve mixed this outfit up. Can’t wait to see what else you manage to come up with once the days go on. I’m sure it’ll get tougher!
Love the blouse, and the rings rock my world.
You do love a bit of Zara don’t you. 🙂 Well done on the challenge so far, look forward to seeing the rest.
xx
Gorgeous blouse! Why do I never remember about Zara? I don’t think I’ve ever been in the Liverpool store, tut tut.
you look amazing! your hair looks great with these colors. oh and the rings!
I do like a pussy bow blouse!
We will allow you the blazer, it’s far too chilly this week! Looks great – boots are styled so perfectly, yet again loving the hosiery! xx
I’m laughing because you wrote:
“I find these Zara boots quite hard to style” and when i saw the photo i though… wow, she’s styled those boots so well, it looks effortless.
I love the colours of this outfit… especially the jeans 🙂

It’s a great look, I think the jacket fits perfectly – and no-one should be without one in England in November!

I think you are incredibly brave for doing this challenge! I would already be bored on day 2! Hoping it goes well for you tomorrow…!

Well done on day 2! That blazer looks lovely and compliments the outfit very well.
I like the Topshop ring.
I like the idea of this challenge! It must definitely force you to be experimental with what you have, and I suppose appreciate what you’ve got without lusting after other stuff… it’s admirable… I don’t know how you do it 🙂 jazzy ♥
*jeans envy*
I want your wardrobe 😛
