Firstly apologies for the rubbish photo of my tights. It was early in the morning and the sun wasn’t up!

My first outfit post since the style challenge and still no jeans! Hooray! I’m so pleased – could I have shaken my habit for good? Let’s see, shall we? 🙂

Anyway. Over the weekend I’ve been having a think about my blog and what I want to do with it. I don’t want my beautiful blog to become a dumping group for my tangled, unstructured thoughts. I already know I need to improve the quality of my photos – hopefully a new camera and longer daylight hours will help that! But I also want to make sure the content of my blog is interesting, relevant and well written. So I’ve planned out a loose structure for the day to day of A Little Bird…

Mon-Fri: Wearing my Wardrobe
An outfit post everyday, with detailed photos, fashion chat and style challenges.

Sat: Nesting
Saturdays will be my break from blogging (I’ll be cleaning the house in sweatpants, anyway!).

Sun: Around the House/Tell Me a Story
Sunday posts will be less about fashion, more about my life in general and what I’ve been up to.

and i’m also thinking of giving my blog structure, but then I think UGH what happens if I want to post something that falls outside a category!? Your plan sounds good though! x

The new structure sounds great too – I really liked your post on the Elf make-up so think it’s a great idea to do a weekly post on general things while still keeping the focus as a fashion blog 🙂 x

Hi Jen!

I haven’t been able to view your blog in forever! Everytime you had a new post, and I clicked it, this little box came up that said internet explorer had to close 🙁 It did this for quite some time! I have no idea if it was my computer or what, but this time it let me view your blog!

Your outfit is absoloutly lovely, I LOVE the tights, and the earrings. I found a little bambi necklace in an Etsy shop that i’ve been eyeing, your earrings remind me of it ! I’m starting to become slightly obsessed with all things hearts lately, and have been on the lookout for a pair of black tights simliar to yours. Haven’t come across a pair yet though!

Glad that I can finally look at your blog again 🙂

Jen Jen Jen, where oh where are those bambi earrings from! I very nearly squealed with glee when I saw them! I love the outfit too, especially the dusky pink shades 🙂 Definitely my preferred colour of choice for Spring/Summer this year.
