Apologies to any international readers – I’m going to talk about the weather. It is horrible. Endless rain, grey skies, lashing wind… on days like today I just want to curl up on the sofa with my kitten and do some online shopping.
Sadly, the world does not stop for rain. Sigh.

Luckily I had an assortment of pretty things to cheer me up, despite the awful weather. My pink Uniqlo jeans were fresh from the wash – the light colour gets grubby quickly so they’re constantly in the washing machine – so I threw them straight on. They are most unsuitable for a rainy day but I can’t resist that candyfloss shade!
Next to make me smile was the hilarious selection of packages that came through the door. I’m helping to organise my good friend’s hen do, which is next weekend – she sometimes reads here so I won’t divulge the recent arrivals, but let’s just say we’re ‘well equipped’ for the festivities.
Finally, I unwrapped the package lovely Cat from Take Courage sent me and discovered this amazing tote bag. Love. It. How adorable? And of course, you can trust me. I am a fashion blogger, after all.
How’s the weather where you are (I have to ask, I’m British)? Hope you’re all sheltering from the rain!

Love the jeans! Such beauties would defo cheer one up on a gloomy day. The weather was horrible, it disrupted our train line so I’m now over an hour late (and still going). We’re so British, on and on about the weather! What larks!

The weather is pretty terrible here too! It’s in that awkward not cloudy not sunny state. It’s so unusual.

I really love this outfit, the perfect things to wear for a dull day. I have opted on staying indoors like a hermit whilst the weather rages on outside. Cup of tea, blanket, good book – I’m sorted 🙂

What a great bag, ha ha! I agree about the weather. I feel like I’ve done nothing but moan about how bad it’s been, but it has to be seen to be believed – so so awful. I can’t resist bright colours and pastel shades at the moment. I just can’t wear black its a bit of an obsession 🙂
I felt really smug today because I drove to work instead of braving soggy, evil-wind England with my parka and no doubt a ridiculous pair of shoes completely not equipped for typhoon. Ice cream shades are literally all I want right now but I can’t wear them on my lower half. Damn climber legs! Hannah x
