My love of denim knows no bounds. I’ve tried pretty much every major brand and have a section of my wardrobe dedicated solely to jeans. From high-waisted to stonewashed to ones with tigers emblazoned on the bum (thanks, Topshop), I have every style imaginable and could recreate that classic Justin and Britney look at least four times over.
But, there’s always room for more. Well, there is when you’re a terrible denim addict with zero willpower. Which, let’s face it – I am.
Jeans, Gap | Denim shirt, Gap | Jumper, Zara | Coat, French Connection | Boots, Zara | Necklace, Zara | Bag, Michael Kors (partially) c/o Sarenza
Hello, pretty new things! Last weekend Gap had 20% off online, so naturally I rinsed that discount dry. I’m a total preppy fan girl when it comes to Gap, and these Legging Jeans are utter perfection. Perfectly skinny with a mid-rise fit and narrow ankle – if you’re hippy with long legs like me, these babies are for you.
I also snatched up this light wash denim shirt – I have a dark denim shirt (also from Gap) that I wear and wash about three times a week, so I know I’ll get loads of use from this. Denim shirts are perfect layering pieces and when worn with jeans in a different shade, make Doing Double Denim (TM) far less ‘eighties’.
Oh, denim. Let’s always be together.
How do you wear yours?
Probably the best double denim look I have seen in a while, it’s quite understated, yet stylish casual
You look so stunning, I love the jumper over the shirt style just recently 🙂 Plus the bag is amazing!

Great look, shame I’m so distracted by the fact that I can see my work in your photos!!
Hi, I am an avid reader (althouh seldom comment) of your blog because I love both your personal style and the way you write. I know it’s super cheeky of me to ask but do you think you could do a dedicated jeans post? I am only just getting back into wearing jeans after about 5 years of nothing but skirts and dresses and would love to know your opinion on different brands. And, you know, you don’t ask you don’t get right?
Hello! Thank you for your kind words. I’ll definitely think about a denim feature… I did do a week of denim-spiration (not sure that’s a thing) last year – http://bit.ly/11kW8Mz (and the linked posts within). Hope that helps!
I am very much like Lemoncupcake who commented above. I am just making the transition from skirts/dresses only to an occasional trousers wearer. I have not progressed to jeans yet. I have documented my progress so far in a blog Rebeccatriestrousers.blogspot.com. You may like to have a look and i would welcome advice from anyone who may care to give it!
Love this look, the necklace is gawjjjjjus! 🙂

Loving the denim shirt, jumper, bold necklace combo! I would never have thought of it myself, but this has given me some major inspiration!
