Christmas is a time for tradition – whether it’s under (or over) cooked sprouts, opening presents in your pyjamas or watching in horror as the dog vomits the brie wheel she stole earlier all over the dining room carpet (yes, that did happen this year. And last year).
Here are a few photos (taken with my new Canon G11, which I ADORE) of Christmas 2010, done my way. Normal blogging shall resume shortly!
Red cabbage awaiting the hob
One of many dogs – Harry, the Miniature Schnauzer
A Wedgewood ornament on the tree
Veg basket
A little bit of Florida sunshine in our frosty conservatory
My Christmas Day outfit – the dress is Ted Baker via charity shop and the pumps are Topshop
Our starter – cream cheese stuffed salmon parcels with prawn salad and tomato salsa
The obligatory cracker joke, which must be read aloud to the table who must laugh politely and/or shout obscenities
Paper hat on and ready for turkey
Roast turkey, carrots, pigs in blankets, roast potatoes and cranberry sauce
A holly sprig as a centre piece
Christmas Pudding all ablaze
A snowy Boxing Day walk – I’m wearing an ASOS cape, Topshop gloves and stole, H&M jumper dress and my favourite Very boots.
Cat escaping the Christmas chaos by hiding out under the dining room table
Aaaaand relax!

Lovely post – the cape outfit is amazing, you look very stylish.
I have one question, how can you manage a starter? I ate my Xmas dinner and exploded & had no room for pud 🙁 All the food looks delicious though.

LOOOOVE the cape!! I’ve been after a camel cape for ages but the one I love is £95 from Topshop and I’m hoping it’ll go in the sale soon because that’s far too much to spend in my opinion!!! Loving the Christmas photos, your day looked wonderfully festive (and delicious)! can’t wait to see the presents you got =)

Aw, your animals are so cute. Even if they shouldn’t be let near the cheese!
Merry Christmas Jen! Great pics – Mollie is soooo cute! And that pics of the cape make it look amazing, rushing back to Glasgow tomorrow to do some dress-up! 😉 xx
Hehe the cheese eating pooch sounds as naughty as ours. We lost a plate of cold meat. Along with a walnut crunched whole!!
Gorgeous cape, and love the faux fur. Your hair looks great against those colours.
Great pics, nice camera by the looks of it.

I adore your Christmas outfit, the dress is so lovely and perfect. Great photographs and your pets are so beautiful too x
You look lovely in your cape.
I remember one year when we came downstairs to find that our dog had shredded all of the presents under the tree, and eaten all of the edible ones. He then went on to barf up Walnut Whips and Pringles for the rest of the day.
Your new camera is making very crisp photos,I really want a new camera but I always seem to buy shoes with my money! One year my old dog ate all the chocolate decorations off the tree, you can imagine the mess we found the next day!!
Ah Jen, your Christmas looks fantastic! The cape the cape!! AGH it looks so fantastic on you! It drowns me :s
Also schnauzer! So cute. x
