No, not *me*, you cheeky buggers. My blouse!

I bought this shirt on a bit of a whim (damn you ASOS sale) and expected to return it but, as is always the way when I really shouldn’t be spending money, I loved it and decided to keep it. Conversely, when I have money to burn and want to offload it on a popular high street retailer, I find nothing. Sod’s Law in action right there.
Anyway. I love the little trumpeters parading across my chest. I think a lot of animal prints are a bit too cutesy (apart from my dachshund dress) but the monochrome style gives it a sleeker feel and I think it’d make a great office blouse when teamed with black tailored trousers (rather than bright green jeans).
What do you think of animal prints – too little-girl-goes-to-birthday-party for you or get-them-in-my-wardrobe-right-NOW?
get them in my wardrobe right now! a really cute and quirky outfit 🙂 the jeans give the outfit that extra ‘pop’ xx

I love this outfit 🙂 I am quite a fan of animal print, my wardrobe currently homes quite a few tops with various prints on them, but I do agree it can be a bit cutesy cutesy x
Sirens and Bells
I love bird prints at the moment – I too succumed to the sales :-((
Definitely get them in my wardrobe right now! I’ve been eyeing up this exact shirt, but I figure more than 5 animal prints in one wardrobe is too much even for this girl! Love the splash of green with the monochrome as well 🙂 xoxo
i love your blouse so much!!!you look great!!

I’m not too keen on animal prints to be honest. But I do like birds! I own a couple of bird print shirts and a dress. However I do like your shirt – elephants are cool so it’s something I would buy myself. And I love the colour of your jeans! I’m really into different coloured jeans at the moment, which is not really ideal because it’s summer, but I guess in this rubbish weather jeans are allowed. Anyway, they’re lovely.
I like a print that isn’t floral.. which usually means I end up with birds.. or paisley, but I like animals, you just don’t see them often! I also like the way you’ve half tucked in the blouse, I think last weeks Grazia had a story about that?
Love the animal print shirt! It looks perfect with the outfit, those jeans are a gorgeous colour!

Caroline’s Catwalk
I have that shirt! Bought it a while ago with 20% off so am not too sad about the sale price. It’s a really nice smart style that I need to wear more often!
Great blouse! I really sympathise about the inability to find something when there is cash burning a hole in my pocket with a specific item of clothing in mind. For me that was the perfect white blazer. I have given up for now. I am sure I will find one before pay day or when it has gotten really cold out 🙂
Btw, the half tuck rules!
gorgeous blouse! Agree animal prints can appear childish but you’ve definitely pulled it off here – very chic 🙂 xxx
Another great addition to the zoo-drobe!
I especially love it with those jeans =)
xx
Zoo-drobe – love it! 🙂
I haven’t seen an elephant print on the shirt before….cool, x
adorable 🙂
I LOVE animal prints, I am slowly growing my ‘wardrobezoo!

I really love this look, especially the splash of colour your jeans give the outfit. I don’t think there’s anything wrong animal prints as long as you style it right! xoxo
love the top 🙂 i love anything with animals as a print, so adorable! xx
