I usually shy away from posts about wearing one thing in multiple ways. Usually because once I find a great way to wear something, I stick to it. I’m not particularly adventurous in my sartorial choices and firmly subscribe to the ‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it’ theory.
… except when it comes to knitwear. From late September to (let’s be honest) mid-May, knitwear is my homeboy. I wear my collection of sweaters, jumpers and cardigans day in, day out, and pairing those pieces with jeans can get a little repetitive. So when knitwear’s involved, I’m happy to mix it up.
I’ve also developed a bit of a habit for cashmere.
So here’s one beautiful cashmere jumper – sent to me by the lovely folks at Pure Collection – worn in three different ways for three different activities.
morning meeting.
Jumper, c/o Pure Collection | Skirt, Zara | Boots, Zara | Necklace, Zara | Ring, H&M
The jumper I chose for this challenge is a gorgeous rose pink – the perfect partner to my tapestry print skirt. With black tights, leather booties and a tonal necklace this smart but sweet outfit worked well for a morning of meetings.
afternoon stroll.
Jumper, as before | Beadnall jacket, c/o Barbour | Jeans, Topshop | Boots, c/o Sarenza | Scarf, Zara | Gloves, Accessorize
Next up was the afternoon stroll. Rob and I visited Yorkshire Sculpture Park last week and as it was a freezing cold day, I thought I’d put my jumper to the test. With a Uniqlo Heattech tee underneath and a big scarf to bundle up with, I was toasty warm.
date night.
Jumper, as before | Jacket, Michael Kors via TK Maxx | Jeans, Topshop | Blouse, thrifted | Boots, Zara | Earrings, Zara | Sunglasses, Orla Kiely
For date night, I decided to give my jumper a tougher edge with leathers, skinny jeans and block heel boots. The soft pink looks lovely against black, and the peep of polka dot collar adds detail. Because the jumper is a ‘boyfriend’ fit (read: loose), it works best with something fitted on the bottom and these Topshop Joni Jeans are just the ticket.
Ta-dah! Cashmere, three ways. I’ve actually worn this jumper many more times that I’ve documented – it’s the perfect throw-on-and-go piece, it keeps me warm and is super soft and snugly. What more can you ask from knitwear?
How would you style this jumper?
These are gorgeous !I think the second is my favourite xo
