Rob and I went to Santorini for our honeymoon. It was a truly beautiful, breathtaking, gorgeously awesome place that deserves a whole post of its own – coming soon as part of my special ‘Wedding Week’ feature. For now, I’ll give you a sneak peek of this wonderful island and its spectacular sunsets by sharing one of my favourite outfits I wore while we were out there.

To celebrate our one week anniversary (gotta remember the milestones in married life), I got a little dressed up in the floor-sweeping Evita Maxi Dress, sent to me by the lovely ladies at Gorgeous Couture. I’m not usually one for glamour – I prefer my outfits with a casual edge – but this dress is beautifully fancy without being too OTT. The fabric is heavy and it feels glorious to wear. It hangs perfectly and the lace detailing on the bodice give it that vintage feel. I paired it with huge sunnies and a cocktail ring for that Hollywood Movie Star factor… probably ruined by me tripping over the hem on the way up the mountain for dinner, but whatever.
We shot these photos from our terrace just as the sun was setting. Santorini sunsets are famous and people come from all over the world to see them. We were lucky enough to have our own private spot with a perfect view (and hot tub… sorry not sorry), but people lined the streets around us every night to see for themselves.

Wow you looking stunning Jen and look at that beauty of a sunset. My parents holidayed there many moons ago and i’ve always wanted to visit! my dad raves about the island.

big happy sigh. my husband took me to Santorini last year in the summer and proposed to me there, so this brings back such special memories. and you’re right, the sunsets are indescribably breathtaking. can’t wait to see more of your trip! x
