The best thing about autumn/winter, in my humble opinion, is knitwear.
I LOVE knitwear.
Cardigans, jumpers, knitted dresses, cable knit socks and chunky beanies – I have absolutely loads of the stuff and I still buy more. There’s nothing quite like bundling up in a cosy cardi and heading off for a blustery walk (even if it is just round the shops).

The folks at Boden asked me to pick an essential item from their Autumn/Winter collection, so of course I jumped straight into the knitwear section. The Relaxed Cashmere Cardigan is gorgeous to wear and feels totally snuggly… which is really all I ask from my winter knits. Since chatting to Kristabel about the negatives of polyester/acrylic knitwear many years ago, I avoid them wherever I can. This cardigan is 100% cashmere and feels just dreamy. I love the navy shade, too – it looks great with red.
I teamed the cardigan with statement earrings, a simple striped tee and my trusty skinny jeans. Dressed up with some colour-pop heels and a lovely leather bag, this is a great smart/casual outfit for chilly days.

After living in the UK for four months I truly love knitwear as well!.. Now it reminds me of the best time of my life with my very good UK friends, because at that time we stayed in a VERY cold house, so knitwear was essential!
