My hair is rather ridiculously long in these photos. Note to self – get a hair cut!
Hello to you all. First off, let me say a HUGE thank you to everyone who’s entered my giveaway – I’ve had an overwhelming response, both here and on Twitter. You’ve still got plenty of time to enter (until Sunday, when I’ll announce the winner), so off you pop if you haven’t already.
I think these New Look wedges will become a fashion favourite of mine – I just love them. They go with EVERYTHING and only cost me £15! Who said open toes before May was a style sin? Definitely not me. These beauties are very similar and perfect for prancing about in the sunshine.
I’m also quite madly in love with the pretty cropped chambray shirt I’m wearing, which I bought from H&M last summer. Miss Selfridge have something similar to team with your swishy skirts and a straw hat.
I’ll be wearing these two pieces over and over – dressed up and down, for day and night. What two things in your wardrobe will you be wearing out as the weather warms up? Have you found your favourite floral frock, or discovered those denim shorts Daisy Duke would be jealous of? I’d love to know!

I love this outfit, it’s really practical for the weather but so trendy!

I’ve never ventured into the world of wedges… I’m being tempted though!

You’ve got such a cheeky smile in that last photo, love it! Gorgeous! My favourites? I couldn’t possibly name two, just “too many”.

Love the outfit – especially the wedges! I’m hoping that my H by Henry Holland playsuit will become my summer style staple (if the weather’s good enough!) although I usually live in vintage Levis cut-off shorts once the weather warms up 🙂 x

Ahhh, I have the Miss Selfridge shirt. Bought as a summer staple for the future – I love it! Other than that I can not ‘do’ summer without white broiderie anglais slips and a cut off denim skirt I have had forever

Ugh! Jen every single time I see you wearing those New Look Wedges I fall more and more in love with them – they are just fantastic! And you wear them so well!

I found a few slouchy tanks in beautiful pastel colors over the weekend – I imagine I will be wearing them quite often during the spring/summer!! 🙂

Ah, celebrating spring with beautiful wedges… I can understand that they are a favourite of yours, Jen; they even look comfortable! I’m still confused about my spring outfit, still very much into black clothes, but this needs to change, pronto!

P.S. No, I don’t think your hair is too long, it’s lovely. (but if you are interested, I’ve got a great trick how to cut your hair yourself.) x

Are the wedges comfy? I’m on the hunt for a pair (or 4) to replace my sadly falling apart Dolcis cork wedges and these look great.

I have no idea about summer clothe. I’ve never been slim enough to enjoy it properly before!

I just love the wedges! Don’t think I have ever owned a pair but I am more than temptered.
The way you team them with tights looks really good 🙂

I just bought some super sweet sunglasses from H&M, they’re a translucent teal at the top and then fade to clear. I love them, and at £2.99, what a bargain! My other favourite is a pair of light denim dungarees I bought last year, the shorts are elasticated at the bottom so the poof out like… well… bloomers? They’re better than they sound!

I have no idea how you manage to wear something so summery but it still looks so warm! Very jealous!

I can’t wait to get my sandals on and my painted toes out, I look forward to it every year even if I’m always in my leggings still cause the British weather is just too cold! I’m very much looking forward to going out in just a cardigan, no coat!

Love, Amy Marie.

Well I think the catwalk clearly stated that socks and open toed sandals was perfectly acceptable throughout the Spring and Summer months, so I think you are well within the fashion boundaries!
This summer I’m definitely going to wear my faded denim shorts from Topshop (they fit like a dream!), and I’m so excited to wear this pastel and floral bustier which I snapped up from Zara. I just can’t wait for the weather to warm up a bit!
